The Carmel Arts Council continues its Meet the Artist showcase with a show by Linda Bachofner.
My painting experience for over 30 years has been invaluable to me in appreciating the world we live in. Artist see things in a unique way. Education has been developed by studying with some distinguished artist such as Henry Bell, Rob O’Dell, Jerry Smith, Tom Lynch, Maxine Masterfield, JoAnn Cardwell, Betty Carr just to name a few. I am honored to have had work accepted by the Hoosier Salon and the Watercolor Society of Indiana.
In describing my work, I would like to think that my ideas, which I have given thought and concern, are shared with the viewers. Just for a moment I want to my work to take the viewer to a place of tranquility, peace or different course of thought.
My Mother is an artist and throughout my childhood I observed and absorbed a great deal from her to broaden my creative spirit. I feel compelled to say my art career was “Inspired by Mother and Mother Nature.” I hope that in some small way my work inspires
